Origami Vintage Boutique | Content Collaboration with Adáe

An authentic brand experience — created to elevate and clarify.

In this project, I partnered with Origami, a downtown Raleigh boutique, to create organic content that visually reflected the unique identity of the store — not as a thrift shop, but as a curated vintage destination. This distinction was important to both the brand and its audience.

Project Challenge

The shop’s owner, Brooke, expressed concern that Origami’s fashion-forward aesthetic was being confused with standard thrift retail. The goal was to reframe the store’s image — highlighting its curation, vibe, and signature personality — without losing the charm and character that makes Origami special.

What I Did

✔ Developed and styled a short-form Instagram Reel capturing the interior, signature pieces, and in-the-moment movement throughout the shop
✔ Created an immersive third-party experience that felt honest and editorial — blending shopping visuals with environmental storytelling
✔ Strategically aligned the content with Brooke’s visual identity to enhance audience perception and brand clarity

Content Outcome

The final piece achieved the desired goal: viewers saw Origami as a vintage fashion boutique with purpose — not just a place to browse, but a destination for discovery and styling inspiration.

The content generated engagement, reshaped audience perception, and offered shareable visual storytelling that now lives natively on Instagram
